Key To Starting A Small Business!

What could it possibly be?

Two years ago a man walked into his bosses office. He had worked for years for a huge corporation, putting his life work into it. He stood in front of his boss and calmly set his resignation on the desk. He told his boss, I am sorry but I need to start being my own man. I need to be accountable only to myself from now on.

A few months later he opened up his own company. He was full of excitement, very energetic, dedicated and focused. His new company took off and he had new employees, new equipment and started adding tons of customers.

Things were going great for about two years, then all of a sudden it changed, his business started to go sour. He started loosing customers and loosing money, while trying to figure out why, he lost his focus and soon had to close his doors.

What happened? What did I do wrong? What could I have done better? I know this business inside and out. There is still a need for my product or service.

Marketing is what happened! Marketing, marketing, marketing! Without good marketing your business will fail.
