Having an online home business consists of tons of advertising. Advertising using pay-per-click, writing articles, writing press releases, filming videos and writing classified ads. In order to get prospects to read your ads, and most important, click on them, you have to be creative in writing them.
Believe it or not, everyone is creative! It just takes knowing that you can do it and then learning how to do it. If right now your are saying, “But, I am not creative!” That right there is why you are not! Like I said, everyone is creative! Here are a few tips that can help you stop saying, “I am not creative!”
One: Fear of Failure
This is the biggest cop-out of all. Why would anyone be afraid to fail? What is the worst thing that could happen? People telling you, I told you so!” So what, they are only words. Think of Thomas Edison, if he was afraid of failure, we would not have electricity as of today.
How about the Wright Bros.? With out them, there would not be airplanes. Of course, by now someone else would have probably invented electricity and airplanes, but the point is that failure did not stop them. No matter what other people said to them, they made their dream come true.
Two: If It Works, Do Not Fix It
Some people for some reason, just have to know how things work. If it works, do not fix it. If your website is getting leads, do not try to figure out why, just leave it alone. If your articles are getting tons of views, great, write some more.
There are a lot of people that cannot handle confusion. Stop trying to figure every little thing out. If your ads are not getting the traffic you want, fine then fix it. But if everything is working the way it should, then leave it alone. If you continue to try and change things, it will just drive you crazy.
Three: Block Out Naysayers
One of the worst creative blockers is listening to the naysayers. “What were you thinking?” “Did you really think you could make money online?” “I told you that you could not do it!”
You have to learn to block out what other people are saying. Sorry to say, especially your family and friends, sometimes they are the worst critics. The best thing to do is not tell them until you start making money, then you will hear them say, “Wow, I did not know you were so creative!”

Four: Lost For Ideas
All creative people get a mental block from time to time, even great writers. When you get lost for ideas on what to write about for your online home business, take a break. Totally get your mind off of your business. Turn on the radio, go for a walk, go shopping, anything to distract you.
Sometimes it might only take you an hour of distraction, and sometimes it might take a week. Just let your mind wander and relax, you might be surprised with the ideas you come up with. Always carry a paper and pencil or something to take notes. Your next creative idea might jump out at any time.
Eckhart Tolle quoted: “Whenever an answer, a solution, or a creative idea is needed, stop thinking for a moment by focusing attention on your inner energy field. When you resume thinking, it will be fresh and creative!”
